Senior Android Developer

We are looking for a Senior Android Developer who possesses a passion for pushing mobile technologies to the limits and will work with our team of talented engineers to design and build the next generation of our mobile applications.

Responsiblities

• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Work with outside data sources and APIs.
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

Eligibility & Requirements

• BE/Bsc/Msc/B.Tech/BCA in Computer Science, Computer Engineering/ Related disciplines/ relevant experience.
• 2 -3 years of Native application development experience.
• Experience using mobile platform programming environments such as Android studio, Eclipse.
• Knowledge of SQLite, MySQL or similar database management system.
• Experience working on REST, JSON, XML, web services and XMPP protocol.
• Proven working experience in Android development.
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, Activities, Services, Intents, Content Providers,security features, Broadcast receiver and Notifications.
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.

Bonus Point

• You exhibit impressive UI/UX skills.
• You’re familiar with “hybrid” apps (web views wrapped around a native app).
• Experience working in global android app development.
