BeSignal is a SaaS company whose B2B solution enables the collection and management of complex and sensitive situations. Our platform helps organizations structure their case handling, communication and incident management processes, while coordinating multiple internal and external stakeholders in a fully confidential manner, covering areas such as whistleblowing, professional alerts, incidents, workplace harassment and violence (GBVH), and security.

We support mid-sized companies and large enterprises, higher education institutions, and leading public sector organizations.

Our international and multidisciplinary team currently consists of around twenty people. Having successfully completed our growth stage, we are now entering a new phase of expansion (scaling), driven by geographic growth (entry into new countries), product expansion (new offerings and client verticals), and the further structuring of the company.

Role Description

We are looking for an experienced Symfony Developer to join our team.

You will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of our SaaS platform, built with Symfony and API Platform, and work in an international context serving clients outside Mauritius.

You’ll collaborate with a small, skilled team of developers and product experts to build robust, scalable, and secure features, while helping us evolve our technical stack to the latest standards

MySQL and PostgreSQL
Redis

Optional / Nice-to-have:

Experience with work with sensible data
Experience with ELK stack
Experience with Grafana

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain backend services using Symfony and API Platform
Participate in the migration and modernization of the existing codebase
Design and optimize database structures (MySQL/PostgreSQL)
Contribute to application performance monitoring and troubleshooting
Collaborate closely with the product and frontend teams to deliver new features
Ensure code quality, security, and best development practices

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (minimum Bac+3 or equivalent)
5+ years of professional experience in web development
Experience in a B2B (SaaS preferred) environment
Proven experience working within an international group (familiar with clients and markets outside Mauritius)

Languages

French — professional proficiency
English — professional proficiency
