Mid-Junior Mobile Engineer

Hiring: Mid-Junior Mobile Engineer (Contract – V1 Delivery)

We’re building a real-time messaging app (Telegram-like) and looking for someone who can actually ship — not just talk about it. If you’ve built apps, pushed them live, and know how to work in a fast-moving team, this might be a good fit.

Location: Remote works, but brownie points if you’re Delhi-based
Platforms: Android & iOS (both required)
Type: Contract (V1 Delivery)

What we’re looking for:

• At least one app live on both Play Store & App Store (please share links)
• Experience with Flutter / React Native / native (Swift/Kotlin)
• Hands-on with real-time systems (WebSockets, Firebase, etc.)
• Someone who can take ownership and drive V1
• Comfortable working with junior developers and helping unblock them
• Clear communication — no constant follow-ups needed

Good to Have:

• Experience with messaging systems (XMPP, MQTT, etc.)
• Worked with media (images/videos, compression, streaming)
• Startup or fast-paced environment experience
• Familiar with app review and release cycles

What this is not:

This is not a salaried role. This is a V1 contract — scoped, deliverable-based. If V1 goes well, future contracts are on the table. We’re a small team moving fast and we expect the same from you. There’s no room for people who disappear mid-sprint or can’t communicate blockers early.
